My name is Valeria Hinojosa, and here’s a glimpse of my story:
Eleven years ago, I took a leap of faith and left behind a career in banking—a world that no longer aligned with my essence. The process was anything but easy. I went through bankruptcy. I lost everything. But I also rebuilt my life—this time with a wide-open heart and a crystal-clear purpose.
Along the way, I learned how to elevate my creativity, reconnect with nature, break free from old patterns, manifest the life I dreamed of, and take intentional action to turn it into reality.
Today, at 37, I experience a profound sense of abundance—not just professionally and financially, through the conscious businesses I’ve co-created, the book I published with Harper Collins, or the land we bought in Florida where we now live with our rescued animals—but spiritually. I’ve learned to prioritize my mental and emotional wellbeing and deepen my connection to the universe. My spiritual calendar is just as important to me as my work calendar.

Hi, I’m Santiago— the other half of Casa Earth.
I’m a political scientist turned journalist with over 15 years of career experience across the globe—from Berlin to Bogotá, New York to London—where I’ve worked as an editorial strategist and creative director for companies like Monocle, Faena, Univision, and Gestalten, among others.
My articles have been published in Architectural Digest, Suitcase, Boat Magazine, Departures, Surface, Leafly, and El País, and I’ve collaborated with luxury brands, public figures, artists, and multimillion-dollar campaigns—developing brand identities, advertising strategies, and cultural programming for media platforms, government institutions, private companies, and NGOs.
Beyond storytelling, I’m also a certified 200-hour Hatha Yoga and Meditation teacher, a graduate of plant-based nutrition coaching, and a culinary diploma holder.
